HOLTON, KS – July 16, 2025 – A Clay Center woman was arrested Saturday evening in the parking lot of the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office on multiple charges, including methamphetamine possession and aggravated violation of the offender registration act.
Jackson County Sheriff Tim Morse reported in a release that 48-year-old Rebecca Blackburn was taken into custody by a Sheriff’s deputy shortly after 7:00 PM on Saturday.
Blackburn faces charges of aggravated violation of the offender registration act, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Following her arrest, she was transported to and booked into the Jackson County Jail.
Further details surrounding the circumstances that led Blackburn to the Sheriff’s Office parking lot were not immediately released by authorities.
