Axtell, KS – The Harvesters Community Food Network announced that it will hold its final food distribution event in Axtell on Friday, September 12, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. The distribution will take place in the parking lot at 6th and Elm.
Residents seeking assistance should arrive before noon to get signed up.
Harvesters officials stated that the Axtell program is being discontinued due to cuts in several federal nutrition programs. While this will be the final distribution at the Axtell location, many other Harvesters sites will continue to operate.
