Community Physicians Clinic opened its Axtell location in January 2024. The primary care family medicine clinic is located in the new Axtell Community Fitness Center, and includes its own suite of private rooms and offices, as well as a separate entrance located on the south side of the building. The new clinic location includes two patient exam rooms, a private waiting area, a reception office, and private medical charting/office space. Crist & Pieschl, P.A., is also able to use the clinic space to provide physical therapy appointments.
Linda Bott, APRN, and Michele Voelker, APRN, WCC, are primary care providers at the Axtell location. Clinic hours are Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.; and Thursdays from 1:30 – 4:30 p.m. Appointments can be made for new or existing patients for illness-related primary care checkups, wellness checks and preventative health appointments, CDL physicals or sports physicals, or any point-of-care testing for COVID, illness, etc.
“We are grateful to the Axtell community for welcoming us, and for partnering with us to provide more accessible healthcare to the eastern side of Marshall County and neighboring areas,” said Curtis Hawkinson, CMH chief executive officer. “We hope you’re able to join us to celebrate on March 27th.”
