HANOVER, KS – The Hanover High School Wildcats football team is moving up its annual Homecoming celebration. The school announced today that the Homecoming game and festivities, originally scheduled for October 3rd, will now take place on Friday, September 19th.
The decision was made to accommodate a shortened school week at the end of September. The week of September 29th through October 3rd was set to include two non-student days for inservice training on Monday, September 29th and Friday, October 3rd.
By shifting Homecoming to September 19th, students will now be able to enjoy a full week of school activities and events leading up to the big game. The Wildcats will face off against the Washington County Tigers on their new Homecoming date.
