A Topeka woman was arrested on drug charges following a traffic stop in Jackson County.
Just before midnight on January 25th, a Sheriff’s Deputy stopped a 2000 Toyota Corolla on U.S. Highway 75 near 118th Road, according to Sheriff Tim Morse. During the stop, Police Service Dog (PSD) Duke was deployed and alerted to the presence of narcotics in the vehicle. A subsequent search uncovered methamphetamine, THC, and drug paraphernalia.
The driver, 32-year-old Kaley Rae Lindberg of Topeka, was arrested and booked into the Jackson County Jail on charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of THC, possession of drug paraphernalia, and driver’s license violations.
