Wichita, KS – Law enforcement in Wichita are investigating another homicide after a shooting Sunday evening claimed the life of 32-year-old Kelly Black.
According to a statement released by the Wichita Police Department, officers responded to a shooting in the 7000 block of E. Lincoln just before 6 p.m. on Sunday. Upon arrival, first responders discovered Black on the ground, suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital in critical condition but succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
