Salina, KS – Salina law enforcement are investigating the alleged theft of a substantial quantity of allergy medications from the local Sam’s Club, with an estimated value exceeding $5,000.
According to Salina Police Captain James Feldman, officers were dispatched to the Sam’s Club located at 2919 Market Place just before 5 p.m. on July 5, following reports of a theft.
Store employees informed police that at approximately 4 p.m., a Hispanic man entered the store, retrieved a 40-gallon tub, and proceeded to the allergy medicine aisle. He was then observed placing numerous boxes of Zyrtec, Flonase, Allegra, and Nasacort into the tub.
At approximately 4:10 p.m., the suspect exited the store through the entrance. He was reportedly seen entering a white Toyota 4Runner and then drove away from the area.
The business has estimated the value of the stolen allergy medications to be over $5,000. The investigation is ongoing.
