There will be a slight chance for severe thunderstorms this evening. Late Tonight chances for storms increase across east central KS, with a few strong to severe thunderstorms possible. Rain and storm chances continue along and south of I-70 on Tuesday, with rain chances increasing Tuesday night through early Thursday morning. There may be heavy rainfall possible across east central KS late Tuesday night through Wednesday night. The rain should move out Thursday afternoon and expect dry conditions by Friday.
There will be a slight chance for isolated supercell thunderstorms early this evening across eastern KS. If storms develop they will be capable of producing large hail, damaging wind gusts, and tornadoes. Later Tonight, after Midnight, the chances for thunderstorms increase across east central KS. Some of these storms may be strong to severe with the primary hazard being large hail and damaging wind gusts.
