Kansas Teen Sentenced To Prison For Road Rage Killing

A Kansas teenager has been sentenced to nearly 27 years in prison for a fatal road rage incident that claimed the life of a 69-year-old grandmother.

On Thursday, Judge Jeff Goering sentenced 20-year-old Daryon Boone for the shooting death of Norma Williams, which occurred in September 2023. Boone previously pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and attempted first-degree murder.

The incident unfolded on September 1, 2023 when a group of motorcyclists, including Boone, ran a red light and collided with a vehicle driven by Williams. Following the collision, Boone pursued the vehicle and opened fire, fatally wounding Williams.
