After opening U.S. 24 today in Mitchell and Cloud counties, Kyle Railroad plans to close K-9 at the railroad crossing near Beloit tomorrow morning around 6 a.m. to repair and upgrade the railroad tracks.
During construction, K-9 will be closed to through traffic from U.S. 81 to Beloit in Cloud and Mitchell counties and will be directed to detour on U.S. 24.
Work on the K-9 railroad tracks is estimated to be completed and reopen by Sunday, June 9, weather permitting.
