Winter Storm Possible Wednesday Through Thursday Across Area

Date:

A storm system will affect the central Plains Wednesday through Thursday. Precipitation will begin as rain on Wednesday, then change to snow Wednesday night. Periods of a wintry mix are possible as well, especially across east central Kansas. Uncertainty continues on the track of the system and resultant areas of snow accumulations as well as the duration of mixed precipitation before changing over to all snow. The best chance for higher snow accumulations will be along and south of I-70.
