Nineteen Kansas school districts were selected as part of a pilot program that will allow research and redesign as to how education is applied. Those including Washington County, will take part in Apollo, which is the next round of the Kansans Can School Redesign Project, through the Kansas State Department of Education.
Schools were selected through an application process, with 29 Kansas districts applying.
