Domestic airfare is 2% costlier, domestic hotels are 5% cheaper, and domestic car rentals are 17% cheaper compared to last year. INRIX advises early travel and avoiding peak hours. Top destinations include theme parks, entertainment venues, and European cities. Trends show interest in bucket list trips, milestone celebrations, travel insurance, cruises, all-inclusive vacations, rail vacations, and Asia trips, especially Japan. The survey reports growing interest in high-end cruises, rail vacations, and adventure in nature.
