Beloit, KS – Beloit High School played host to the highly anticipated 2025 Beloit Relays, a track and field meet that brought together numerous talented athletes from across the region. The event, held on Friday, saw fierce competition and impressive performances across a wide range of events.
The Beloit Trojans proved to be a dominant force on their home turf in the girl’s division, securing a decisive first-place finish with a commanding score of 144.50 points. Washington County finished second with 64.33 points, followed closely by Clifton-Clyde in third with 59.33 points.
In the boy’s division, Southeast of Saline emerged as the team to beat, racking up an impressive 113 points to claim the top spot. Smith Center showcased their strength, finishing second with 86 points, while Bennington rounded out the top three with 74 points.
The meet also featured separate classifications for 3A/4A and 1A/2A schools, highlighting the depth of talent across different school sizes. In the Class 3A/4A boys’ division, Southeast of Saline once again took the crown with a strong 141 points, with Hoisington and Beloit following in second and third place, respectively. The Class 1A/2A boys’ division saw Smith Center claim victory with 108 points, ahead of Bennington and Marion.
On the girls’ side, Beloit continued their strong showing in the Class 3A/4A division, securing another first-place finish with 146.50 points. Clay Center and Southeast of Saline finished second and third in this division. The Class 1A/2A girls’ division saw a tighter competition, with Washington County ultimately taking the top spot with 74.33 points, followed by Clifton-Clyde and Bennington.
Overall, the 2025 Beloit Relays showcased the dedication and athleticism of numerous high school track and field programs.
