The Kansas City Chiefs narrowly defeated the Carolina Panthers by a score of 30-27 in a thrilling Week 12 matchup.
The Chiefs jumped out to an early lead, scoring on their first five drives. Patrick Mahomes threw for 269 yards and three touchdowns, two of which went to tight end Noah Gray.
However, the Panthers fought back, with rookie quarterback Bryce Young leading the charge. Young threw for a season-high 262 yards and a touchdown, keeping the Panthers in the game until the final seconds.
With just under two minutes remaining, Mahomes led a crucial drive that set up a game-winning 31-yard field goal by kicker Spencer Shrader.
This victory marked the Chiefs’ 10th consecutive season with at least 10 wins.
The Chiefs will host the Las Vegas Raiders Friday afternoon at 2:00 PM.
