TOPEKA, Kan. — Topeka police are investigating the city’s 15th homicide of 2024.
Just after 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Topeka Fire Department crews responded to a medical call in the 500 block of NE Gordon Street. Upon arrival, medical personnel discovered a deceased man.
Due to the circumstances surrounding the incident, police were called to the scene to investigate. The case is now being treated as a homicide.
The Topeka Police Department will provide more information as the investigation progresses.
