The following is provided by the Marshall County Clerk’s Office for Marshall County residences. KNDY News has confirmed the authenticity with the Marshall County Clerk.
The Kansas Secretary of State, Scott Schwab, has issued warnings about not placing your mail-in ballot into the care of the U.S. Postal Service due to inefficiencies, delays in delivery, lack of applying a postmark date and other problems.
You need to deliver your ballot in person to the Clerk’s Office or place it into the secured drop box outside the courthouse. This is secured by cameras monitored by officials. For those who are housebound or unable to get your ballot delivered by hand, we have formed a group of people who will make arrangements with you to pick your ballot up and deliver it to the Marshall County Clerk’s election office. It is coordinated with Sandy Wilson, Marshall County Clerk.
You may contact her at this number: 785-562-5361. She will then notify the appropriate people who will contact you for arrangements.
