The Kansas Highway Patrol has identified the woman who was fatally struck by a vehicle on Saturday night in Harvey County. Aubrie-Li C. Lakey, 22, of Newton, was walking northbound in the southbound lanes of Interstate 135 when she was hit by a Dodge Durango.
The driver of the Durango, Aaron K. Dietz, and two passengers were not injured. Lakey was pronounced dead at the scene and transported to the Sedgwick County Regional Forensic Science Center.
