South winds will be strong again today. Although humidity levels will be higher than recent days, fire danger will be elevated. Enough moisture will be in place for thunderstorm chances late this afternoon into Saturday as a cold front moves through. A few of the storms may be severe late this afternoon and this evening. Temperatures will be cooler this weekend with gusty northwest winds. Elevated fire danger conditions redevelop Sunday.
A few severe thunderstorms are possible from around 5 PM to around midnight tonight. Large hail and damaging winds are the main concerns.
