Suspect Shot In Chanute Officer Involved Shooting Dies

NEOSHO COUNTY – Brandon Lee Schlichting, the 28-year-old Chanute man injured in an officer-involved shooting on Aug. 20, has died of his injuries. He died at approximately 1:15 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 22, at the University of Kansas Medical Center.

This investigation is ongoing. No further information will be released at this time.
