Feb. 11 is Kansas Armed Forces Appreciation Day at the State Capitol

On February 11, the State Capitol in Topeka will celebrate Kansas Armed Forces Appreciation Day from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Governor Laura Kelly will sign a proclamation and present awards to distinguished Kansas National Guardsmen for their exceptional service. Displays will showcase various military branches and veteran support organizations.

Departure Ceremony Set for Deploying Soldiers of the Kansas Army National Guard

Soldiers of Company A and Company D, 1st Battalion, 108th Aviation Regiment will be honored in a departure ceremony on April 7, 2024, before deploying in support of aviation operations in the National Capital Region.
