Northwest Kansas Experiences Cluster of Small Earthquakes

Northwest Kansas experienced a series of small earthquakes over the weekend, including three quakes on Saturday with magnitudes of 2.6, 2.5, and 2.7. Residents reported feeling the tremors, but there were no reports of damage. This follows a previous magnitude 2.1 quake in late June near Bogue.

Boil Water Advisory Issued for Nicodemus Township, Graham County

The Kansas Department of Health and Environment issued a boil water advisory for Nicodemus Township public water supply system. Customers should boil water for one minute, dispose of ice cubes, and disinfect dishes and food surfaces. The advisory is in effect due to inadequate chlorine residual levels.
