CONCORDIA PANTHERS AT NORTON BLUEJAYS

The 3-4 Concordia Panthers of the North Central Kansas League head down US-36 this evening to face the winless Norton Bluejays at Travis Field. Concordia has wins over Beloit, Marysville, Chapman this season, and losses to Wamego, Abilene, Clay Center and Rock Creek. Norton has had a tough ride this season, with losses to Oakley, Thomas More Prep, Smith Center, Minneapolis, Beloit, Russell and Phillipsburg. MARION WARRIORS AT VALLEY HEIGHTS MUSTANGS

The Marysville Dental Care Game of the Week this week takes us to Blue Rapids, as the Valley Heights Mustangs host the 5-2 Marion Warriors from the Heart of America league. Marion has wins over Herington, Douglass, Bennington, Sedgwick and Whitewater Remington this season. They’ve dropped games against Inman and Moundridge in back-to-back weeks. Valley Heights enters the contest 4-3, with wins over Onaga, Doniphan West, Bennington, and Herington. Losses include Centralia, Sacred Heart and Republic County last week. Valley Heights sits in 3rd place in 1A District 5, behind Republic County and Sacred Heart, who are each 3-0 in district play. Max Blaske on the call on 95.5 KNDY-FM.

CLAY CENTER TIGERS AT MARYSVILLE BULLDOGS

It’s a classic NCKL Showdown tonight as the 4-3 Clay Center Tigers head to Marysville to face the Bulldogs. Clay Center has wins over Abilene, Louisburg, Chapman and Concordia this season, dropping games against Southeast of Saline, Rock Creek and Wamego last week. Marysville heads into the game looking for their first win of the season, with losses against Nemaha Central, Hiawatha, Wamego, Concordia, Abilene, Rock Creek and Chapman. THUNDER RIDGE LONGHORNS AT OSBORNE BULLDOGS

The KD Country 94 Game of the Week this week head to Osborne, as the 3-4 Thunder Ridge Longhorns face the Osborne Bulldogs. Thunder Ridge has wins over Rock Hills, St. John’s/Tipton and Pike Valley, and losses against Sylvan-Lucas, Hill City, Linn, and Frankfort. On the other side of the ball, Osborne enters 4-3, with wins over Hoxie, Pike Valley and Norwich and a forfeit win against Victoria.
