Lincoln, Rock Hills Top Tescott Invitational Track & Field Meet

TESCOTT, Kan. (May 5, 2025) — The 2025 Tescott High School Invitational Track Meet brought fierce competition to north-central Kansas on Monday, with athletes from nine schools battling across a full slate of events. In a meet defined by narrow margins and standout performances, Lincoln and Mankato-Rock Hills emerged as the top teams, trading spots atop the podium in the girls’ and boys’ divisions.

In the girls’ team standings, Rock Hills edged out Lincoln in a tight race, scoring 94 points to Lincoln’s 91. Sylvan Unified followed close behind with 83 points. Central Plains (58) and host school Tescott (55) rounded out the top five in a competitive field that saw solid performances across the board.

On the boys’ side, Lincoln claimed the team title with 111 points, narrowly outpacing Rock Hills, who finished second with 110. Ell-Saline secured third place with 89 points, while Tescott earned a strong fourth-place finish with 80. Sylvan Unified (70), Central Plains and Lakeside (tied at 37), and Tipton (14) completed the rankings.

With regional meets just around the corner, the Tescott Invitational served as a key tune-up for many athletes hoping to punch their tickets to the state championships later this month.
