Joe’s Kansas City Bar-B-Que will be available at Kauffman Stadium this season

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Kansas City Royals announced a partnership with Joe’s Kansas City Bar-B-Que that will bring one Kansas City icon (the Z-Man sandwich) to another (Kauffman Stadium).

This announcement is another example of the Royals having the best of Kansas City’s food and beverage at Kauffman Stadium to create deeper connections to our community throughout The K.

“Kansas City is proud to be home to the best barbecue in the world, so the Royals are excited to announce that Joe’s will be coming to right field at Kauffman Stadium for the 2025 season,” Royals Chief Operating Officer Jason Sinnarajah said. “As a continuation to some of our efforts in 2024 to bring more local food offerings to our fans, we wanted to bring a Kansas City favorite, the Z-Man, to The K!”

“Joe’s is very excited to be a new vendor partner with a great organization like the Royals,” Joe’s Vice President Ryan Barrows said. “Serving championship barbecue near the fountains at The K while the Royals chase the pennant is a very proud moment for our employees and brand.”

Joe’s will be serving Z-Man sandwiches (fans can choose the classic slow-smoked beef brisket or the smoked pulled chicken with BBQ mayo, both topped with smoked provolone and two crispy onion rings on a toasted Kaiser roll) and onion rings located in right field, adjacent to the Outfield Experience.

The partnership with Joe’s expands the list of popular local destinations at The K, which are among the ballpark’s most popular.
