Kansas Jayhawks Basketball Now on SuperStar Country 102.5 & 1530 AM

Norton, Kansas – Fans in Northwest Kansas and Southwest Nebraska can now catch Kansas Jayhawks men’s basketball games on SuperStar Country 102.5 & 1530 AM.

Dierking Communications, owner of KQNK AM & FM radio in Norton, has partnered with Learfield Sports to broadcast all Jayhawk men’s basketball games. The partnership begins Monday, November 4th, with the Kansas Jayhawks hosting the Howard Bison at Allen Fieldhouse. Pregame coverage starts at 6:30 p.m., with tipoff at 7:00 p.m.

The Voice of the Jayhawks, Brian Hanni, will continue to call the action. Hanni, a 2002 graduate of the University of Kansas, has been the team’s play-by-play announcer since 2016.

The Jayhawks enter the 2024-2025 season as the Associated Press Preseason Number 1 team and Big 12 Conference preseason number 1 team, as voted on by Big 12 Conference coaches.

Kansas State Wildcat athletics will continue to air on sister-station Classic Hits Q-106.7 KQNK.
