Manhattan Woman Arrested for Arson and Theft

Nesa Simms, 29, of Manhattan, was arrested on August 14, 2024, at approximately 9:17 AM in the 1100 block of Ratone Street. Simms was arrested on a Riley County District Court warrant.

Simms was charged with aggravated arson x 2, arson x 2, and theft of property or services with a value of less than $1,500.

Simms charges are linked to a fire that happened in Ogden back in May of this year. That fire caused damage to two vehicles and a mobile home. Simms’ bond was set at $75,000. She is currently confined at the Riley County Jail.
