KBI Provides Update On Officer Involved Shooting In Kansas City

KANSAS CITY, Kan. – The Kansas Bureau of Investigation (KBI) has identified the man killed in an officer-involved shooting on Friday, May 10, in Kansas City.

Jordan Cole, 18, of Kansas City, Kansas, was shot and killed when gunfire was exchanged with an officer from the Kansas City Kansas Police Department.

The third male subject who fled the incident scene has not yet been identified or apprehended.

The investigation is ongoing. Once completed investigative findings will be presented to the Wyandotte County District Attorney for charging decisions.
