Salvador Perez’s 3-Run Homer Sparks Royals Rally Over Rangers 7-1

Salvador Perez smashed a three-run home run during the Kansas City Royals’ impressive victory over the Texas Rangers on Friday night. The game saw Brady Singer deliver a stellar performance on the mound, pitching six dominant innings to secure the win for his team.

The Royals’ offense came alive in the seventh inning, with Perez’s home run being the highlight of a six-run surge. The team’s bats were on fire, with key contributions from Kyle Isbel, Vinnie Pasquantino, and Bobby Witt Jr. before Perez extended the lead to 7-1.

On the other side, Michael Lorenzen put up a solid performance for the Rangers, but it wasn’t enough to contain the Royals’ explosive offense. Singer continued his impressive form, allowing just one run and four hits while striking out eight batters. The win marked the Royals’ third consecutive victory, showcasing their strong form in recent games.

The second game of a three-game series between the Royals and the Rangers will take place at Kauffman Stadium on Saturday. The game is set to start at 6:10 p.m. Michael Wacha, with a record of 1-3 and an ERA of 4.24, will be the starting pitcher for the Kansas City team. He will be facing Dane Dunning, who has a record of 3-2 and an ERA of 4.13, for the Rangers. Tune in to Classic Hits KQNK 106.7 FM, 102.5 FM & 1530 AM for pregame coverage starting at 5:30 p.m.
