Three men arrested in St. Louis for 2023 murder

ST. LOUIS  The Kansas Bureau of Investigation (KBI), along with the Independence Police Department, secured three arrest warrants for murder based on an investigation into the October 2023 shooting death of Jason York in Independence, Kansas.

On Thursday, Feb. 22, between 6:30 and 9 a.m., the U.S. Marshals Service and the St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office arrested the three men in North St. Louis, Missouri. 

Kevin A. Quinn, 37, of St. Louis, was arrested for first-degree murder and aggravated robbery. Aquan A. Quinn, 20, of St. Louis, was arrested for first-degree murder and aggravated robbery. Kevin W. Martin, 23, of St. Louis, was arrested for first-degree murder and aggravated robbery.

The suspects were booked into the St. Louis County Jail. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Extradition is expected.

The investigation is ongoing. The Montgomery County Attorney’s Office is expected to prosecute the case.
