MARYSVILLE – Community Memorial Healthcare (CMH), Marysville, is pleased to celebrate its sixty-fifth anniversary by announcing the hospital has again been recognized as a Top 100 Critical Access Hospital for 2023. Compiled by The Chartis Center for Rural Health, the Top 100 annual recognition program honors outstanding performance among the nation’s rural hospitals based on the results of the Chartis Rural Hospital Performance INDEX™.
Due to a commitment to delivering the best patient care and outcomes while remaining financially efficient, CMH has been recognized for the past seven years after first achieving the national Top 100 recognition in 2016.
Since first opening its doors on March 2, 1958, CMH has endeavored to maintain a reputation for quality care and up-to-date equipment and facilities. For the past 65 years, CMH staff and administration have strived to live up to that reputation.

Now in its 13th year, the Chartis Rural Hospital Performance INDEX has established itself as the industry’s most comprehensive and objective assessment of rural hospital performance. Leveraging publicly available data, the INDEX is trusted by rural hospitals, health systems with rural affiliates, hospital associations and state offices of rural health across the country to measure and monitor performance across a variety of areas impacting hospital operations and finance.
