KDOT Approves Over $11 Million in Marshall County Highway and Bridge Projects

This includes a bridge replacement on K-9 Highway for $5.6 million and a mill and overlay on U.S. 36 Highway for over $5.5 million. Construction start dates are pending.

Resurfacing to begin May 12 on U.S. 36 in Republic County

The Kansas Department of Transportation will commence a resurfacing project on U.S. 36 in Republic County starting May 12. The project includes a mill and overlay over 16 miles. Traffic will be managed by flaggers, causing possible delays of up to 15 minutes. Completion is expected in late July.
