In Pool I, Hillsboro and Ellinwood secured victories over Humboldt and Rossville, respectively. Rossville later defeated Humboldt, while Ellinwood triumphed against Hillsboro. Centralia and Little River each secured victories in Pool I, with Centralia defeating Goessel and Frankfort, while Little River triumphed over Frankfort and Goessel. The KSHSAA Class 1A State Track & Field Championships at Wichita concluded with impressive performances. Key highlights include Taigin Liggett winning the 100 meters and Anna Jueneman dominating the 200 and 400 meters. Ness City and Hanover showed depth in sprints and relays, while multiple athletes excelled across events, showcasing Kansas talent.
