The Hanover Wildcats defeated the Sharon Springs Wallace County Wildcats 64-49, advancing to the 1A Division II State Quarterfinals. Anna Jueneman led Hanover with 21 points and 6 steals. Despite Jersi Benisch's 27 points, Wallace County struggled with turnovers and shooting, ultimately falling short against Hanover's defense and balanced offense.

The Linn Lady Bulldogs won their state tournament opener against the South Haven Cardinals, 51-39. Marcela Huerta led with 15 points, supported by Isabelle Rogge's double-double. South Haven struggled offensively, shooting 29.3%. With a significant rebounding edge, Linn advances in the tournament while South Haven's season ends.
