WICHITA, KS — The driver accused in a fatal hit-and-run crash that occurred in February is scheduled to make her first court appearance today, according to the Sedgwick County District Attorney’s Office.

Amanda Gallagher, a 37-year-old woman from Wichita, died on October 26th after backing into a spinning propeller at Cook Airfield in Derby, Kansas, while taking photographs. Emergency crews responded, but she later died in the hospital. A fundraiser has been created to assist her family.
