Native American Artist to speak at Cook Series

Monte Yellow Bird Sr., a Native American artist, will present "If You’re Going To Shine, Shine Brightly" at Cloud County Community College on April 24. Known as Black Pinto Horse, he promotes harmony between humanity and nature through his art. The event is free and highlights the college's 32-year-old Cook Series, aimed at broadening cultural exposure.

American Astrophysicist, Strategist to speak at CCCC Cook Series

Emma Louden, an astrophysicist and speaker, will discuss "Return to Home, Return to Hope: Charting the 3rd Phase of Space Exploration" at Cloud County Community College on March 27. A Princeton graduate and Yale Ph.D. candidate, Louden also founded Space To Sparkle, mentoring students towards careers in the space industry while promoting STEM education.
