K-State Salina teams place in top 15 at national flight competition for female pilots

Student pilots from Kansas State University Salina participated in the Air Race Classic, a national aviation event for female pilots. Two teams from K-State Salina achieved top 15 rankings out of 60 teams, with Team Sky Cats placing third in one leg. The intense competition covered 2,400 miles and tested the pilots' skills in various aspects of aviation. The experience provided valuable real-world learning and networking opportunities.
