Galentine’s Valentine Event Brings Shopping, Sweets and Community Fun to The Farmer’s Daughter In Hanover

Washington and Marshal County Communities should look no further when planning a festive way to celebrate friendship and Valentine’s with a new event to add to their calendars. The Farmer’s Daughter is hosting a Galentine’s Valentine celebration featuring local shopping, seasonal Valentines themed drinks, sweet treats and special promotions — including a one-of-a-kind raffle prize and a community-wide “Hide-a-Heart” scavenger hunt in partnership with other local businesses.

Owner and Organizer, Adrianne Meyer says ,”the event is designed as a welcoming girls’ night out where guests can come and enjoy a special night out with a best friend, sister, mother, daughter, or anyone special in their life’s”.

The evening will include girls’ shopping opportunities, coffee, snacks, sweet treats and a special Valentine-themed drink menu, along with activities and festive touches throughout the space.

In addition to food and shopping, attendees will have the chance to participate in a unique raffle drawings supported sponsorship contributions. The headline prize is an exclusive candlelight dinner for two at The Farmer’s Daughter, described as a “one-night-only” dining experience.

Raffle tickets will be $10 per entry, and multiple entries are allowed. The winning ticket will be announced following the event. It is encouraged for attendees to be present at the event to enter the drawing.

Leading up to the Galentine’s celebration, The Farmer’s Daughter is also launching a community scavenger hunt activity called “Hide-a-Heart.” As part of the promotion, plastic shaped hearts will be hidden throughout the Hanover township at participating partner locations, encouraging residents to explore local businesses while searching for prizes. Each heart may contain special offers, vouchers for sweet treats, or surprise goodies. Clues for the whereabouts of the hidden hearts will be posted on the active Facebook page of The Farmers Daughter, or can be asked in person at the store.

The event is expected to bring together residents for a night focused on friendship, community connection and supporting local businesses.
