NCKL Announces 2024-2025 All-League Basketball Teams

The North Central Kansas League (NCKL) has officially released its 2024-2025 All-League basketball teams, recognizing the top talent in both girls’ and boys’ divisions. The selections highlight the exceptional skill and dedication showcased throughout the season, reflecting the high level of competition within the league.

Girls’ All-League Selections

The girls’ All-League first team features a diverse group of athletes from across the NCKL. Wamego boasts two selections with Lexi Hecht (11th) and Kendall Mayer (9th), demonstrating their strong program. Clay Center’s Lily Edwards (10th) and Raegann McDonald (12th) earned spots, as did Rock Creek’s Kylee Frazee (10th) and Brynna Zoeller (11th). Concordia’s Charlize Cash (11th), Abilene’s Tessa Herrman (9th), and Marysville’s Lindsey Dressman (12th) and Kacy Roesch (11th) round out the impressive list.

Honorable mentions were awarded to Jaylin Roush (10th, Concordia), Lucy Martinie (10th, Rock Creek), Renatta Heintz (12th, Abilene), Jai Rogers (10th, Chapman), and Isabell Wilber (12th, Wamego).

Boys’ All-League Selections

The boys’ All-League first team is equally impressive, with a strong contingent of seniors leading the way. Marysville’s Will Otott (12th) headlines the list, joined by Rock Creek’s Coley Burgess (12th) and Eli Bell (12th). Clay Center’s Weston Hammond (12th) and Jace Weller (12th) also earned first-team honors. Abilene is well-represented with Tyler Holloway (12th), Weston Rock (12th), and Ian Crump (12th). Concordia’s Peyton Retter (12th) and Chane Parker (11th) complete the first-team selections.

Honorable mentions were awarded to Owen Craig (12th, Clay Center), Gavin Rosa (11th, Rock Creek), Slade Smith (12th, Wamego), and Peter Martinie (11th, Rock Creek).
