Led by Hunter Dickinson’s 16 points and contributions from five players in double figures, the 12th-ranked Kansas Jayhawks overcame a 14-point first-half deficit to defeat TCU 74-61 on Wednesday night.
AJ Storr ignited the Jayhawks’ comeback, scoring 10 of his 12 points in the second half. His stepback jumper with 11:30 remaining gave Kansas the lead for good, capping a 14-2 run. Zeke Mayo added 13 points, while Shakeel Moore chipped in 11. Freshman Flory Bidunga recorded his first career double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds, along with four blocks.
Noah Reynolds led TCU with 14 points, but the Horned Frogs, who have alternated wins and losses in their last eight games, missed their final six shots and scored only two free throws in the closing minutes.
