2024 Marshall County Fair Schedule

The 2024 edition of the Marshall County Fair will take place in Blue Rapids starting on Thursday, July 18th running through Tuesday, July 23rd. Stay tuned to KNDY 95.5 FM, 1570 AM & 94.1 FM for the latest updates live from the fairgrounds in Blue Rapids.

Battle of the Bands – Sunday Night

Thursday, July 18

  • 9 am — Horse Show
  • 5 pm — Horse Speed Events (Rain date for everything except halter events TBA)

Friday, July 19

  • 2 – 6 pm — Livestock Weigh-In
  • 4 – 8 pm — All 4-H and Open entries accepted
  • 7 pm — Dog Show
  • 7 pm — Ranch Rodeo

Saturday, July 20

  • 8 am — Swine Show
  • 9 am — All entries in place, this includes horticulture (Food should be entered at judging time)
  • 9 am — Judging of entries: 4-H (Blue Rapids City Building) (This includes Foods) and Open Class, except livestock
  • 5 – 9 pm — Inflatables
  • 5:30 pm — Bucket Calf Practice
  • 7 pm — Figure 8 Race (Arena)
  • 8 pm — Open Mic on Fairgrounds “Unleash your inner superstar”

Sunday, July 21

  • 8 am — 10K Run (Barnyard Boogie)
  • 8 am — Beef Show & Rabbit Show
    • Bucket Calf Show after Beef Show
  • 1 pm — Table Setting Contest
  • 1 – 5 pm — Car Show (Call 785-713-0526 for details)
  • 2 – 6 pm — Roller Coaster Experience (Floral Hall)
  • 3 pm — Model Rocket Shoot off
  • 5 – 9 pm — Inflatables
  • 6 pm — Parade “Stars, Stripes, and Marshall County Nights”

  • 1 pm — Dairy and Dairy Goat Show
  • 6 pm — Round Robin
  • 8 – 10 pm – Pool Party (4-H Families) (Sponsored by TCA)
  • At Dark – Outdoor Movie

Tuesday, July 23

  • 7:00 – 9:00 am – Farm Bureau Pancake Feed (Free will donation towards ending hunger campaign)
  • 9 am — Decorated Cake Judging
  • 10 am — Livestock Judging Contest
  • 4:30 pm
    • 4-H Fashion Revue & Cake Auction 
  • 5 pm
    • Fair Supper catered by Ricky’s Café. Open to the public.
    • Meal may be purchased at the event until food is gone.
  • 6:30 pm — Livestock Auction
  • 7 – 9 pm — 4-H and Open Class Exhibits Released

Wednesday, July 24
