Jayson Tynon has accepted a contract to serve as Principal of Axtell Public Schools for the 2017-2018 school year.
Larry Geist had submitted his resignation, effective at the end of the school year. He is taking a job with USD 399 in Russell County as Superintendent and K-12 Principal.
Tynon has taught Physical Education at Axtell the past two years, and served as Athletic Director and coach. He is a 2003 graduate of Frankfort High School, and has both a Bachelors and Masters degree.
