USDA Invests in Renewable and Energy Efficiency Projects to Strengthen Kansas Farms and Businesses

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Rural Development Kansas State Director Christy Davis announced investments in renewable energy and efficiency projects to benefit Kansas farmers, ranchers, and rural small businesses. The investments through the Rural Energy for America Program (REAP) aim to lower costs, create jobs, and expand access to clean energy while providing good-paying jobs. The investments include grants for solar and wind energy projects, energy-efficient improvements, and more, benefiting various businesses across Kansas. The USDA will continue to accept REAP applications and hold funding competitions quarterly. These investments aim to improve the quality of life and economic opportunities for rural communities.
