Marshall County Fair in Blue Rapids

July 20

|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every day that begins at 12:00am, repeating until July 21, 2020

Covid-19 update 5/14/20

As of now the Fair is still on!  More definite decisions will be made July 1st following a hopeful Phase 4 start as outlined in the Governor’s plan released today.  We have decided to postpone the motorsport arena events till a later date this coming fall we hope.  That date will be determined at a later time.  If Kansas goes as scheduled and we are in a Phase 4 period during the fair, then much of the schedule will likely stay as originally planned.  If it appears we will still be in Phase 3 during the fair, then several changes will most likely take place to scheduling and the coordination of dropping off exhibits to be judged as well as the returning of items to the exhibitors.  Animal entries if we are in Phase 3 will most likely be a “show and go” meaning species will arrive the day of their show and leave the same day to return home.  The Carnival being present will also depend on what Phase we will be in during that time.  We will need to maintain social distancing where applicable.  There is still a lot of unknowns at this point but we hope this information helps to give our communities some hope and encouragement to continue with preparing their exhibits for the county fair.  Please watch for other updates on this page and through social media as we get closer to fair time.
