00:01:10—Wheat Tour Day Two–K-State wheat production specialist Romulo Lollato reports again from the 2022 Hard Winter Wheat Tour on this, the final day of the tour:  he recaps the wheat crop estimates made by his tour group yesterday as they scouted fields in west-central, southwest and south-central Kansas…they found that drought stress was more widespread than they had anticipated



00:12:05—Late Corn Herbicides/FSA Update–K-State weed management specialist Sarah Lancaster goes over the herbicide options for corn growers who weren’t able to put down their pre-emergence treatments because of uncooperative weather this past month:  she names those products that can, and can’t, be safely applied to small corn…and for the latest Farm Service Agency update, FSA outreach coordinator Chris Thurston covers an assortment of USDA program items, including two drought assistance opportunities for livestock producers



00:23:07—Horticulture Insects Aplenty–On this week’s horticulture segment, K-State horticultural entomologist Raymond Cloyd talks about control measures for assorted insect pests currently at work in home landscapes and vegetable gardens
