Governor Kelly Appoints Melissa Taylor Standridge To Kansas Supreme Court

Governor Laura Kelly this week appointed Melissa Taylor Standridge to the Kansas Supreme Court. Standridge will fill the vacancy created by the retirement of Justice Carol Beier.

Judge Kim Cudney was among three finalists under consideration for the position. Cudney serves as Chief Judge of the 12th Judicial District in Kansas, a post that she has held since 2006.
