Light Mix of Freezing Drizzle & Sleet Possible Overnight Through Wednesday

Light freezing drizzle across portions of east central Kansas early this evening will spread northward across the entire area through the night. There may be periods of sleet and snow mixed in with the freezing drizzle across north central and northeast Kansas late Tonight. Roads may be slick for the morning commute.

Derek Nester was born and raised in Blue Rapids, and graduated from Valley Heights High School in May of 2000. In 2018 he became the Studio Coordinator at the Cumulus Kansas City broadcast center for Kansas City Chiefs Football.
