When we left off yesterday on Governor Jeff Colyer’s visit to Beloit on a whirlwind campaign trip with stops in all 105 Kansas counties over 14 days, he had discussed his roots and issues in the state such as population decrease and school finance. He then moved on to overall economics.
The governor continued to speak out strong on economic prosperity, but he offered little in the way of specifics during the short visit.
He offered more specifics in terms of accountability and cost controls.
On Tuesday next week, Republican and Democratic voters will go to the polls to select their party’s representatives in the November General Election. That was Gov. Colyer’s visit to Beloit at Kettle from Monday.
