Two vehicles stolen from Marysville Friday afternoon have been recovered, and the thief was apprehended by Kansas Highway Patrol after a stop near Topeka.
A recent model Ford pickup was taken from Casey’s in Marysville shortly before 4:30 p.m. Friday. It was later recovered, and a Dodge Caliber was taken from a rural residence east of Marysville.
Pottawatomie County authorities picked up, then lost pursuit of the vehicle near Rossville. It was later stopped near Topeka, and the thief was arrested on a warrant, and will face local charges in connection with the incident.
