The Board of Marshall County Commissioners met in regular adjourn session with Robert S. Connell, Chairman, Lynn Feldhausen and David E. Baier members and Sonya L. Stohs, County Clerk present.
The Board called the Board of County Commissioner meeting to order at 8:30 a.m.
The Board opened the meeting with the flag salute.
The minutes and agenda were approved as presented upon a motion by David E. Baier seconded by Robert S. Connell. Unanimous.
County Treasurer Jami Ellenbecker met with the Board to have a Memorandum of Understanding signed allowing the Marshall County Treasurer to allow the fees that are collected in December that are 2018 renewals be retained for the 2018 motor vehicle operations. Robert S. Connell moved, seconded by David E. Baier to approve signing the Memorandum of Understanding allowing the Marshall County Treasurer to allow the fees that are collected in December that are 2018 renewals be retained for the 2018 motor vehicle operations. Unanimous.
County Treasurer Jami Ellenbecker also presented Resolution # 17-11-27-1 declaring certain delinquent personal property taxes to be dormant and uncollectable, pursuant to K.S.A. 79-2101. David E. Baier moved, seconded by Lynn Feldhausen to approve Resolution # 17-11-27-1 declaring certain delinquent personal property taxes to be dormant and uncollectable, pursuant to K.S.A. 79-2101. Unanimous.
Public Works Administrator Mike Craig and Public Works Coordinating Supervisor Larry Polson met with the Board.
David E. Baier moved, seconded by Lynn Feldhausen to approve the following purchase orders. Unanimous.

The Board approved Public Works Administrator Mike Craig advertising for a Public Works employee to replace the November 30, 2017 retiree.

David E. Baier moved, seconded by Lynn Feldhausen to approve the Neighborhood Revitalization application for Fred and Betty Mann, Waterville, KS with the preconstruction pictures that were provided by the applicant. Unanimous.
David E. Baier moved, seconded by Lynn Feldhausen to approve the County’s share of payrolls and related vouchers, as presented, processed the motor vehicle payroll and issued manual warrants from the respective funds. Unanimous.
Galloway Wiegers and Brinegar Attorney’s Jason Brinegar and Coleman Younger met with the Board.
David E. Baier moved, seconded by Robert S. Connell to approve the Chairman signing a contract with Galloway Wiegers and Brinegar Attorney’s Jason Brinegar and Coleman Younger as the County Counselor December 1, 2017 thru January 15, 2017. Unanimous.
